"Carratois" is located approximately ten kilometers from the town center of Marzamemi. It is an extremely long beach, a natural continuation of the shoreline facing Isola delle Correnti, extending all the way to Punto Rio. Characterized by fine sand and shallow, clean waters (one needs to venture quite far out to find deeper water), beach facilities such as kiosks, umbrellas, and beach chairs are concentrated in a small area. This makes Carratois a favorite destination for bathers, both tourists and locals alike.
